The Ad Lab’s research centers in the areas of trauma, parenting, attachment, coping, regulation (at the level of emotion, behavior, and/or physiology), representation (at the level of self, other, and/or relationships), stress, psychopathology and/or resilience. In addition to examining processes of positive and atypical development, the Ad Lab emphasizes applied developmental science, including research that informs policy, prevention, intervention, and community outreach.
The Ad Lab will not be reviewing applications for new graduate students. Interested students are encouraged to review the research programs of other laboratories within the Department of Psychology, many of which share complementary areas of inquiry.
