Hello! My name is Nerissa Abalde and I am currently a fourth year undergraduate student at UCR. I am a Psychology major and Sociology minor. I enjoy observing individuals, groups, and their environmental conditions, especially when relating to adolescents and children. So I found the Adversity and Adaptation research lab as the perfect place to experience all these things. I plan to attend graduate school and receive a Ph.D. in Developmental or Social Psychology where I am hoping to gain experience in teaching and learning valuable skills as a researcher.

	Hello! My name is Rowell Concepcion, and I am currently a third year double-majoring in psychology and public policy. I enjoy learning about both the psychology of law as well as how children are affected by all kinds of adversity. In the near future, I hope to attend law school, but my mind is definitely subject to change

Hi, I’m Cindy Dorado Ponce. I am a fourth year student, double-majoring in Psychology and Spanish Literature. After graduating from UCR I intend to take a year off in order to get clinical experience. Afterwards, I plan to enroll in grad school and obtain a Ph.D in clinical psychology.

	Hi, I'm Karla Martinez and I'm a second year psychology major. Once I obtain my bachelor's degree from UCR, I plan to attend graduate school. At the moment I am interested in working with children who show oppositional defiant disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and /or pervasive developmental disorder. My main goal is to focus on Child Psychopathology in order to gain valuable skills that will benefit young children .

Hi! My name is Erica Morales and I am a third year undergrad majoring in psychology. I plan to attend graduate school after taking a year off to gain clinical and research experience. I plan on pursuing a PhD in clinical psychology and currently my goal is to become a licensed clinical psychologist.

	Hello. My name is Valerie Nolte and I am a third year psychology major. After obtaining my bachelor's degree from UCR, I plan to attend graduate school to earn a Master's or Doctoral degree (I have not decided yet but hopefully time will tell). My ultimate goal is to become a Marriage and Family Therapist or a Clinical Psychologist. After working in a public setting for awhile, I hope to open my own business.

Hi, I am Jigisha Patel and I am a third year psychology undergrad. I plan to attend grad school and become a MFT or a clinical psychologist.

	Hey, my name is Carolina Quiroz. I will be a fourth year this fall. I am a psychology major and a women's studies minor. I am really interested in observing how different forms of adversity affects one's development. I plan to attend gradschool and obtain a PHD in clinical psychology. I am interested in working in the future with children and young adults.

Hi, my name is Chelsie Sampayan and I am a third year psychology major. I am interested in how children develop schemas of the world and how they adapt in the midst of adversities. After I earn my bachelor's degree from UCR, I plan on taking a year off to gain more research experience. I want to work towards obtaining a Ph.D so that I have the knowledge and skills to further psychology, and most importantly to impact the lives of children in a positive way.

	Hi, I'm Art Unzueta. I'm a third year undergrad at UCR majoring in Psychology and minoring in Women's Studies. I hope after next year to receive my Bachelors in Psychology and hopefully get into grad school and receive my Ph.D (in what specific emphasis I have not yet decided).
